Systems vs Symptoms

Our body is an amazing system! The human body is made up of groups of organs, called organ systems, that work together to keep the body in balance. There are 11 major organ systems in the human body. For example, the circulatory, respiratory, digestive, nervous, endocrine systems, and immune systems.

When different symptoms show up in the body - they are clues. The body is giving us clues that something is not right, or out of balance. Most of the time we are looking for something to make that symptom go away, an easy fix. And while I agree that we want symptom relief we often need to look deeper and look at all the clues from the body to get a deeper impact for the body to balance again. We don’t want to just keep putting Band-Aids on the various symptoms. Let’s look at the whole health picture (Holistic), find out which of the body systems needs the most support, and build and nourish that body system. Then the symptoms can be relieved and the body gets stronger by getting what it truly needs.

By doing a health assessment appointment with me we will look deeper to look for root causes of symptoms. Develop a plan to support the body systems, and take the various steps needed for an individualized plan to bring you body back to wellness.

Sometimes I have people tell me I have cut out this or that out of my diet, and now I am eating healthy but I still have certain symptoms. Looking at the whole picture is where I can help by doing a whole health assessment and make various recommendations.
